Whitewater council OKs selling land to Kwik Trip | News


WHITEWATER — The Whitewater Common Council on Tuesday unanimously approved selling, for $229,000, city-owned land on the east side to Kwik Trip.

City Manager Cameron Clapper said that the company made one offer and the city made a counter offer based on the property’s full appraisal amount. Kwik Trip accepted the counter offer.

The property — on East Milwaukee Street, just south of the traffic roundabout — is adjacent to land already owned by the company. The property is about 1.5 acres.
