Boris Johnson will jet to France for his first meeting with Donald Trump since becoming Prime Minister.
The pair will hold talks in Biarritz on the sun-kissed French Riviera, as world leaders gather for a G7 summit this weekend in the first major test of Mr Johnson’s fledgling premiership.
The PM admitted leaders were gathering “at a critical moment for the world and for Britain”.
He and the US President have spoken by phone every week since the Conservative leader became PM and they hold their first face-to-face early Sunday.
They are likely to ramp up moves for a post-Brexit trade…
