Ireland vs Italy Rugby World Cup 2019 warm-up: What time, what TV channel it’s on and all you need to know

Ireland’s opener kicks off at 2pm on Saturday, August 10 at the Aviva Stadium on Lansdowne Road.

What TV channel is the game on?

Viewers actually have a choice of free-to-air channels for this game. RTE have the Irish rights to the game and with Channel 4 holding the UK rights they’ll also be showing it. Both shows start at 1.30.

What’s the Irish team?

Ireland boss Joe Schmidt had to leave the camp during the week and return to New Zealand due to to a family bereavement. In his absence, coach Andy Farrell has named an experimental Irish time as fringe players get a chance to impress.
